Department Profile:  
The Department of Bariatric Surgery at Shifa International Hospital is one the busiest unit and is characterized by a high volume of bariatric cases, including Gastric bypass (Roux-en-Y) and sleeve gastrectomy. We are doing more than 100 cases per year.

We are offering one year fellowship in Bariatric Surgery to produce leaders in the field of bariatric surgery. The candidates apart from his surgical skills will be involved in the ongoing research activities of the department.

Eligibility Criteria:

1) Valid PMC registration and FCPS should be endorsed

2) FCPS in General Surgery with Basic Training In laparoscopic surgery
