Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME) at Shifa International Hospital promotes and supports excellence in clinical teaching, curriculum design, clinical assessment, and program evaluation.

We pursue the highest standards of health education and innovation. With approximately 300 postgraduate trainees — including fellows, residents and house officers. We are offering 22 postgraduate training programs accredited by the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Pakistan and 05 fellowship programs. Several residency/fellowship programs are in the pipeline and will be launching soon (In Sha Allah). The duration of training/fellowship programs varies from two years to four years.

PGME faculty are not only expert physicians -- they are also dedicated educators and researchers offering a diverse clinical experience by working as assistant and associate consultants in SIH.

Our programs have been structured under the guidelines of CPSP in a way to offer an outstanding depth and breadth of educational experiences that will prepare learners for challenging and productive careers.
