The Medical Education department under the leadership of the Director works to ensure that our system of postgraduate medical education is established according to the internationally acceptable criteria and meet all the requirements of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP).
Program Director Message
Recognizing an ever increasing burden of pain disease in the country and a paucity of trained personnel, the Department of Anesthesiology took the initiative to start a Pain Management fellowship. Over the years, this programme has evolved into an established, highly sought-after, fellowship that provides multidisciplinary, sub-specialty level experience for the management of acute and chronic pain. The programme is designed to provide a broad exposure to pain management in a variety of circumstances so that the graduates are well trained and are able to practice independently upon completion of their training.
